 NAME The Piano Restaurant and Bar was opened in October 2013. It had previously been known as The Qualia Lounge. We are now the Piano Thai Restaurant & Bar; a recent addition to Bridge Road’s world famous dining precinct. We aim to remain true to traditional Thai recipes, with a modern twist to transform your dining experience to another level. DESIGN & LIGHTING The design came from the incorporation of the unique vintage piano into the restaurant decor. In traditional Thai buildings wood is used as a primary material. That theme is carried throughout the restaurant with the walls and bar area enriched with wood panelling that complements the mood lighting and creates an authentic Thai ambience.
ABOUT US
 Our contemporary food is created by highly experienced Thai chefs and designed traditionally to be shared banquet style. The generously sized meals work to combine the contrasting Asian flavours of hot, sour, salty and sweet. Tommy used to work for Martin Boetz from the acclaimed Longrain restaurants and has translated several of their favorite dishes for cooks to recreate at the Piano restaurant & bar. If you enjoy eating Thai food, you will revel in the flavors that can be found in -Piano Crispy Duck leg confit ( Signature Dish) - Soft shell crab with tamarind spicy sauce and black pepper -Masaman Curry of slow cooked lamb shank.
